THE WARLORD

MACDONALDS (MACDONALDS) I COULD SEE THE SIGN AS CLEAR AS DAY FROM THE PORCH OF MY HOUSE.I THOUGHT TO MYSELF, " HMMM, I HAVEN'T HAD A DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER IN AGES." IT WAS ON MY AGENDA TO GET ONE, BUT BEFORE II WOULD I HAVE HAVE TO PAY A VISIT TO MY FRIEND PATRICK. HIS HOUSE WAS ABOUT SEVEN DOORS DOWN FROM MINE SO IT WOULD BE EASY TO GET HIM ON MY WAY TO MACDONALDS. WHILE I STROLLED DOWN THE CRACKED SIDEWALK, I WAS READING A BOOK ABOUT THE BATTLE OF TROY. I WAS ALWAYS INTERESTED IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY FOR SOME STRANGE REASON. I WOULD PICTURE myself as the leader of a great army commanding them to destroy my enemies. when i would fight i wouldn't be the hero saving the day.instead, i would be a vicious tyrant set on conquering others. i would rain poison dipped arrows upon my opponents. those who would call themselves heros would be swiftly silenced. it was my dream to be an ancient warlord.

when i arrived at patricks house, i noticed that he had a new door mat. welcome(welcome) i don't know wh but the mysterious mat caught my attention. it was all black with pink letters. as i went to knock on the door i noticed that it was slightly opened.i walked inside the house and called for patrick."patrick", there was no answer. i walked into the living room and i heard a strange sound coming fron the basement. i went down to investigate, and when i got to the bottom of the stairs i was blinded by a neon portal. on the side of the portal were dials for day, month, and year. walked to the portal and set the date for 450 b.c. i walked around the portal, examining it from every angle. i wondered what was inside of the portal and what it was like back in that time period. my curiosity was getting the best of me, i just had to see what was on the other side of that portal. i went through the portal with great haste.

as i went through the threshhold, i saw a neon tunnel filled with many clocks of all sorts. the sight was frightening but i was still determained to enter. "alright here goes nothin"i said as i jumped down the bizaare tunnel. i peered down to see if i could identify anything but the light at the bottom was much too bright.
