Narrator:He was upset about many things. Mainly because he could go any where in time but couldn’t save her no matter what. He really loved her and keeps beating himself up about it. He was extremely depressed and angry at himself because of his inability to save the main woman in his life, his mother.

It was June the 2nd and max was awaking from a long and deserved rest. He is extremely worn out from all his traveling back and forth. Max really wants to be able to see his mother again. She died when a guy tried to rob her car. The guy could have let her go when he had the car but he shot her and speed off. The police didn’t look hard enough to him. They only spent two months on the search, and then called a quits. He thinks they were lazy because two months was nothing because that was his life his mother. When he found out they called the search off he stop relying on the police for help. (2years later). One day max was walking down an alley way and was thinking about his fifth birthday party and in a flash he was there. He was at the location and knew this was strange because he saw himself sitting at the table cutting the cake. While he was lurking in the shadows and many people walked past him and didn’t say anything. The longer he stood and gazed at himself the more attention he drew and the more people started asking who was he and why was he just standing there looking lost. People started to ask questions and he left. He ran outside and took off. When he thought he was safe to stop and catch his breath he did. Next he started thinking how did I get here and is this real? Next he started thinking about being home and once again he took off in a flash and was there. He went into his house up to his room and started thinking very philosophical questions. One for instance was can one travel threw time? If so what were the consequences of this little ability and the punishment fordoing such a thing? He laid down and next he thought about that day and was it possible to travel back and see his mom? Can he travel anywhere in the world and go to anytime, the more he thought about this the more wild his imagination ran. (10 years later). He started to doze off, at first it was a dream then turned into a nightmare because he can remember that day as if it was nothing. He woke up in a puddle of sweat. It was around two thirty and he had learned to control his abilities and had determined that this was a present from god to sort of make up for his losses and his horrible remembrance of that day. Many times max has thought about traveling back in time and every time he gets closer to doing it. Today he decided he will. He thought about the day before that terrible seen and bam…………. He was there. He spent the whole day watching his mom and himself and had so much fun. He knew what was going to happen so he wanted to stop it from happening. Without thinking about the consequences he hatched a plan to make his mom take a differntroute home. So the next day he stole a police car and created a roadblock which made his mom take a different route as he planned. Everything was going good so far except for the lighting that struck the road and cracked the bridge. Once max seen this he speed up and rushed over to the slipping car which held his mom and himself. When he reached the car he hoped out and pulled open the car door to get himself out. He got himself out first because he was closet. Once he pulled himself to safety he reached back to get his mom but the part she was had collapsed and max in the future and his mom had fallen they landed right in the water and started sinking. The car hit the floor first and no matter how hard max pulled the door it wouldn’t open. He struggled and used all his might but he got nothing he seen his mom stat to drown and this angered him. He kept trying but it was worthless and didn’t make a difference. Then out of the blue he was sent back to his room and was soaked. He was angry because he had just lost his mom again and he even changed something so he wouldn’t loose her, but it didn’t work. Then he thought maybe this gift wasn’t something good but a curse. He went down stairs and out the door to get some air. Once he was down stairs he noticed that everything has changed in away. The future isn’t the same way that it was when he left. It seemed as though slavery had been brought back, but the masters where evil dictators. Max knew he had to go back and stop himself from changing the way his mother died. The only thing was he didn’t know if he had the strength to go back and see his mother when he knew that he had to see her die. So he finally puckered up the courage to travel back. When he got there he saw himself and grabbed him and pulled him into an alley way. He told him the whole story and how he couldn’t save his mom because when he does the future will change. Max spent the whole time arguing with himself and getting angry that he couldn’t save his mom. Max and his now future- past self traveled back to the future and when he got there he looked out the window and everything seemed fine. At first everything felt fine. The all of a sudden he noticed that there couldn’t be two future –selves in the future and he couldn’t kill himself because he didn’t know what would happen so now lies a dilemma, one that could and probably has changed the future yet again.To be continued………………………………………………………………………
