Write the beginning of your story four ways: 1st Person-Main Character, 1st Person-Secondary Character, 3rd Person-Omniscient, 3rd Person-Observer

1st Person-Main Character


As I wake up I contemplate what am I going to do today? Where am I going to travel to? Or should I rather say when? I am always going back and forward in time to change and get a sense of wholeness. I really miss my mother and I will travel back to that day for the rest of my life if I have to just to see her face once more.

1st Person-Secondary Character


I was standing at the bus stop when he arrived. I looked down for one quick second and he was gone. Then I decided to stay here and wait for him to come back. Hours and hours had past, just when I was about to leave he reappeared out of the blue. He looked tired and sad. As if he just he came from a very bad interaction.


3rd Person-Omniscient


He was upset about many things. Mainly because he could go any where in time but couldn’t save her no matter what. He really loved her and keeps beating himself up about it. He was extremely depressed and angry at himself because of his inability to save the main woman in his life his mother.


3rd Person-Observer


He jumped up in the middle of the night. He looked around and looked very sad. He looked depressed and like he had a bad dream. He looked as if he just came from jogging because he was so sweaty.
